Your puppy will be flown to the nearest airport using a pet-safe airline. He or she will travel in a temperature-controlled, air-conditioned cabin area specifically designated for pets, in an airline-approved carrier. Before departure, you will receive the flight number, arrival time, and a reference number to identify your puppy upon arrival.
We handle all shipping arrangements, making the process simple for you. You will pick up your puppy at the airport, similar to picking up a passenger, using the provided reference or ticket number. Shipping is completely safe and stress-free for the puppy. In most cases, you will receive your puppy within 5–6 hours on the same day, depending on your location.

Our transport kennels are clearly labeled with bright “LIVE ANIMALS” and “UP” stickers, along with the destination airport, confirmation number, and the customer’s contact details. Before shipping, we help the puppy become familiar with the kennel by allowing time to play and relax in it, ensuring they are comfortable and not fearful.
We provide sufficient food and water for the journey to keep the puppy hydrated and comfortable. This also ensures that, in the unlikely event of delays (such as an overnight stay due to connecting flight issues), the puppy’s needs are fully met. While air travel is generally not stressful for puppies, we still prioritize minimizing transit time by selecting the shortest and most direct routes available.
We carefully monitor weather conditions at both departure and arrival locations and only proceed with shipping when it is completely safe. Your puppy’s health and well-being are our top priorities, and we will never ship if conditions are potentially harmful.
Shipping is typically available from Monday through Sunday. We guarantee the safe and healthy arrival of your puppy. Once home, your puppy may need a short adjustment period—usually a day or two—to settle in. We do not profit from this service. In fact, it often costs us more than we charge, as it would be impossible to fully account for the 12–16 hour days spent transporting puppies. However, ensuring our puppies are cared for according to our high standards—and getting to meet you in person and witness the joy of you meeting your new puppy for the first time—is truly priceless.
💸 Puppy Flight Nanny Cost
Our Puppy Flight Nanny service costs $1,000 and is available to families who purchase a puppy from Crimson Manor Bernese. This fee includes round-trip airfare, the airline’s pet carry-on fee, and any additional travel expenses related to the trip.
If you prefer, you are welcome to book the airfare yourself. Some families choose to use airline points or book through their preferred airline. You may also fly into either San Antonio (SAT) or Austin (AUS), where we will meet you at the passenger pick-up area so you can accompany your puppy home yourself.
🐶 Safety While Traveling
We take air travel very seriously. Our puppies are litter box or potty pad trained, and we provide regular potty breaks using disposable puppy pads inside the airport. We do not use public pet relief areas, as these heavily trafficked spaces can expose puppies to viruses and parasites.
Additionally, we do not allow our puppies to walk freely around the airport or to be handled by strangers. Your puppy’s safety and well-being are our top priorities at all times
